Freestyle Front Shock Update - February 18, 2011
These are th shock part numbers for the Freestyles. Shocks can be ordered from the Ski-Doo Race Department or contact your local dealer.(Ingles Performance has some in stock)
06 - 08 Front stock Shock # 505071485

07 - 08 Alternate Rear Shock Alt Gas Shock 503190809 (not recommended due to failure rate)
New X-package gas shocks:
Front Shock number 860429500 is still allowed if modified to skidoo spec length

Rule Updates - January 14, 2012
All Classes: Reminder: 50% of all Racer's helmet needs to be international or blaze orange. If you take a template measuring 2 inches by 3 inches, it should touch orange on all four corners. Florescent green, yellow or blue is not blaze orange. You also need to have 12X12 (144 square inches) of visible area, blaze orange on front and back of upper body.
Transition 8,9,10 Freestyle 300’s: All sleds must have stock ski’s and stock shocks (either part # 860429500 or 860429400). Tundra Ski’s will be allowed for now, due to back order in OEM ski’s. You will be able to add either 3 or 4 idler wheels to the rear as long as they are stock size. This is only allowed in ECS.
120 Class:
Novice: Box stock except for the change of a governor spring or wire tie through spring.
Stock: Stock Rules except for optional rear sprocket.
Improved: Stock rules except shock it kits allowed. Tunnel enclosures mandatory on Improved sled. Follow the rest of the improved rules on page (124-125).
Champ: Tunnel enclosure mandatory, follow champ rules.
For all 120 classes if you with to protest a sled it will be $100 dollars. If the sled you are protesting is illegal you get your money back, other wise the challenged sled gets the money.
General Rules: Ignition and electrical #3 Data acquisition systems and data acquisition allowed.

Rulebook Update / Sled Panel Rule Update
Revised 2010 Rulebook (Updated Nov 12, 2010) has been posted. Visit the rulebook page to view.
Sled Body Panel Rule Update: If a clutch side panel become detached from the sled or becomes unattached in any way, then the rider MUST pull off the track. This will not become a DQ, unless the driver continues to race without the pannel. If the driver complies with the rule, he/she will receive at worst last place points.
Transponder Penalties Continue for 2010/11 Season
Attention Drivers: For the 2010/11 Season penalties will assessed for no
transponder in a sled.
1st Offense • Scored Last Place in the heat.
2nd Offense • Last place in the heat AND $25 fine.
3rd Offense and more • $40 Fine and last place in the heat.
This is will be enforced per driver not class or weekend.
Example: Driver XXX races Pro Open Round 1 no transponder -1st offense. Driver XXX later in the day races Pro Stock Round 3 no transponder - 2nd offense. Driver XXX races the next weekend in a Pro Open Final no transponder - 3rd offense. If you have any questions please email us.
