Ingles Performance to Provide Sleds for Track Officials at East Coast Snocross
CHESHIRE, Conn. (Nov. 2, 2013) — In the world of snowmobile dealers, there are a few that stand out among the rest. Thanks to a longstanding reputation for excellent service, great products and strong relationships with customers, they rise above the others and often make significant contributions to the sport of snocross.
Ingles Performance, located in Phoenix, New York, is a prime example of this type of dealer. As recipient of the prestigious Ski-doo "Dealer of the Year" award, Ingles Performance is known across the snowbelt as a very special place. As they've done for several years now, Ingles will once again be providing a pair of Ski-doo snowmobiles for ECS track officials to use on race weekends.
ECS Announces 2013-2014 Race Schedule
2013-2014 Race Schedule Announced for East Coast Snocross,
Presented by AMSOIL and Woody's Traction
CHESHIRE, Conn. (Oct. 9, 2013) — As the leaves continue to fall and our thoughts turn to the coming winter, officials at East Coast Snocross (ECS) are pleased to announce their 2013-2014 event schedule. As the sanctioning body prepares for its fourth season, teams and fans alike can begin making their plans.
Technically, since ECS picked up where the former regional circuit (RMR) left off, this is the 23rd consecutive season for sanctioned snocross here in the northeast. RMR held its first races during the winter of 1991-92, and since that time – the sport has advanced by leaps and bounds.
ECS will kick things off at a wonderful new venue in mid-December, in an area surrounded by snowmobile enthusiasts. Race teams will converge on the friendly town of Rumney, New Hampshire, on Dec. 14-15, to contest Round 1. The track will be built on the grounds of the Riverbrook RV Resort on Route 25, just seven miles off of Interstate 93.
The facility provides amenities like a large heated building with bathrooms and showers; electrical hookups for race teams; groomed trail access for snowmobilers; and our hosts even have their own snowmaking equipment. Located on the banks of the scenic Baker River, Riverbrook Resort has it all. Our host for this year's season opener is Wicked Snocross, a group planning a full winter of activities, including a full-scale practice track for snocross, at this beautiful facility throughout 2013-14.
ECS Announces New Novice 250 Class for 2013-14 Season
New Partnership with Phantom Snowmobiles creates Novice 250 Rider Development class at East Coast Snocross,
Presented by AMSOIL and Woody's Traction
CHESHIRE, Conn. (Oct. 7, 2013) - In snowmobile snocross racing, it's the youth riders who represent the sport's future. It is these young boys and often girls, as well, who will carry snocross and recreational snowmobiling itself forward into the next decade and beyond.
With that fact in mind, officials at East Coast Snocross (ECS) are pleased to announce the addition of a new youth class for 2013-14. The new Novice 250 class will be contested on 250cc Phantom Snowmobiles, the ideal sled to fill the gap between 120cc machines and a full-size sled.
AMSOIL Signs Three-Year Agreement with East Coast Snocross as Presenting Sponsor
Woody's, Choko, New England Racing Fuel Return for 2013-2014 Season
CHESHIRE, Conn. (Sept. 17, 2013) — Officials at East Coast Snocross (ECS) are pleased to announce the signing of a three-year agreement with AMSOIL, a world leader in synthetic oils and lubricants, as co-presenting sponsor for the popular regional snocross series.
AMSOIL again joins Woody's Traction and Control products as valued presenting sponsors at ECS.
Used by racers and trail riders around the globe, AMSOIL products are synonymous with high performance. The company's support of snocross, on both the national and regional levels, is unmatched within the industry. Here in the Northeast, that support means a great deal.
"All of us at ECS are honored and proud to have AMSOIL back and so committed to the future of our sport," said series co-owner and president Bob Roscoe. "Their support is highly valued and adds credibility to what we do here in the Northeast. We'll work hard to ensure their message reaches our fans all season long."
